There are many things to see and do for both the young and old while at Shaw's. The beach is just a five-minute walk through a shady lane. You can also cycle, or canoe and kayak on the bay. There are eight 18-hole championship golf courses within a half an hour drive. Tennis is nearby, as well as deep-sea fishing, tuna fishing and harness racing. There are waterslides, go-cart tracks, wildlife and amusement parks for the children. The hotel provides a large safe playground and many playmates. Three evenings a week, we provide a children's entertainment program, allowing parents to have dinner while the kids have their own fun.

Twenty-five charming cottages surround the inn, some with one bedroom, some with as many as four bedrooms. Many cottages feature wood-burning fireplaces, full kitchen, and cable T.V. They are ideal for those who prefer high quality accommodations.These cottages are fully winterized and are available most of the year. Our cottages are very popular with couples or families who prefer to lodge together during their vacation. High Speed Wireless internet is available in the hotel lobby. We are working to improve this service, to provide wireless service everywhere on the property. After dinner a sunset stroll along the beach is food for the soul.
